Gouging SDS chisel is commonly used to break through concrete, cutting grooves into a wall surface to hold pipe work or electrical wires. Carved channel can be patched later with masonry concrete cement. This chisel is made specifically for SDS hammer drills or SDS rotary hammers that use an SDS chuck adaptor. SDS plus is compatible with older standard SDS chuck.
