Those carbide masonry drill bits are used to drill into brick, concrete, stone, cement block and granite. For best results those bits must be used with an SDS hammer drill. The alloy drill bits are made of 40Cr hardness heat treated steel and YG8C cemented carbide. The drill bits are durable and able to handle high temperatures. Those bits are SDS plus shank that is compatible with an older standard SDS 10mm slotted drilled chucks and new SDS plus chucks.
